Natalie Cole was born February 6th, 1950 in Los Angeles, California. The daughter of Nat Cole King, she rose to success in the 1970's as an R&B artist and soon became a very well-known singer, songwriter and performer. After little musical success throughout the early 80's, Cole reemerged in late 80's and early 90's with new albums, and went on to win multiple Grammy awards and eventually sell over 30 million albums worldwide. Cole passed away at a Los Angeles hospital on December 31st, 2015 at the age of 65 due to congestive heart failure.
