Daniel Francis Haggerty was born on November 19th, 1942 in Pound, Wisconsin. Haggerty is most well known for his role as Grizzly Adams in the 1974 feature film, The Life and Times of Grizzly Adams. Haggerty also had lead roles in various other films including Elves (1990), Grizzly Mountain (1995), and Escape to Grizzly Mountain (2000). He also appeared on various television shows and in various infomercials. Haggerty died due to spinal cancer on January 15th, 2016. He had three daughters and two sons.
