Glenn Lewis Frey was born in Detroit, Michigan on November, 6th 1948. He is famous for co-founding The Eagles. During the 1970's, the talented singer, songwriter and producer played the drums and played the keyboard for the band. Frey won 6 Grammy awards as a member of the Eagles. Following the breakup of the band in 1980, Frey embarked on a career as a solo artist and released multiple albums. The Eagles were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1998. Frey passed away on January 18th, 2016 in New York City from numerous health complications. He was 67.
