Scott Richard Kline
Born Scott Richard Kline, he changed his last name at age 5 to Weiland; this adoptive stepfather's surname. He was an American musician and singer-songwriter. Best known for his work as the lead singer for Stone Temple Pilots. He also was in groups titled- Velvet Revolver. Scott Weiland was ranked in the Top 100 for Heavy Metal vocalists. His latest group was called The Wildabouts. He passed away Dec 3 2015 from Cardiac arrest while on tour.
