Prince Rogers Nelson
American singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, record producer, and actor. Prince was well known for his flamboyant style and many music genres including funk, rock, R&B, new wave, soul, psychedelia and pop. In 1993 he changed his name to a symbol known as the love symbol. Since his name could not be pronounced, he was then known as "The artist formerly known as Prince". In 2000 he began referring to himself again as "Prince". A memorial was held at Jehovah's Witnesses Kingdom Hall on Sunday May 15 2016.
