Fideligna Velasquez
- Fideligna was born and raised in Bogota, Colombia.
- She married a police vet (he was the vet for the police horses).
- Together they had seven children, three boys and four girls.
- They would have had many more had he not passed away in a car accident.
-Fideligna was pregnant with their seventh child, a girl who'd later be named Stella and would become my mom.
- She raised seven children on her own and was a very strong woman.
- She lived with my parents and brothers when she grew older, always spoiling my siblings.
- Though I never had the pleasure of meeting her I know I would have loved her dearly and I apparently inherited her hair though in the picture it is curled because it was the popular style at the time.
