Lou Michaels was born on September 28th, 1935 in Swoyersville, Pennsylvania. He was an American football star who was a defensive lineman for the University of Kentucky wildcats. Michaels then played in the National Football League for 14 years between 1958 and 1971. He played for teams such as the Los Angeles Rams, Pittsburgh Steelers, Baltimore Colts, and the Greenbay Packers. Michaels was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 1992. Michaels passed away on January 19th, 2016 from pancreatic cancer.
